The couple of days ago. I search for information on the Metal Earth 3D Laser Cut Steel Models - Black Pearl Ship AND Golden Hind, so i would like to bring a story to tell.
La perla nera is my first metal floor model, and surely this is not a toy. great view and beaks need to avoid frustration, make sure you have 2-3 hours to spare on this model. the mast and the bridge is fairly easy. be careful when you fold the notch, make sure you are in the right direction so the tree will not be easily dissolved. the bottom is not easy because you have to fold it along the edge of the bridge and barely made by guess. to make the Angel figure well aligned is also quite challenging. the regular use of pen bend the sail, start from the a-pillar, ascendant, you will need your good narrow view here. the ship is a bit too broad so make sure you do not bend the bottom part down too, otherwise it will not properly. and Yes you will have 3 excess (number 6). overall this model is good enough to spend your time, I will prepare better for Golden hind.
